Café Correia

O Café Correia é um daqueles restaurantes emblemáticos que não podemos deixar de ir.  De comida bem confeccionada - pelas mãos do Sr. José Correia - e muito familiar. Onde a D. Lilita tem um estilo muito peculiar de receber, mas vale a pena.  Este não é um lugar para grandes complicações, ou grandes exigências, por isso vá descontraído e deixe-se levar. Sinta-se como se estivesse a almoçar em casa de familiares meio rezingões com uma mão muito apurada para a cozinha, mas já sem muita paciência para nos receber. Por isso existem regras a serem cumpridas: a porta para o almoço abre às 13h e para jantar às 19h30m, não entre antes disso; antes de se sentar verifique primeiro a lista e certifique-se que gosta deste tipo de comida, nem pense em sentar e depois arrepender-se e ir embora; espere junto ao bar até que lhe seja indicada mesa, nunca se sente numa mesa qualquer mesmo que esteja vaga; nada de pressas, aqui tudo tem o seu timming; não vá para "beliscar", aqui vai-se para comer.

The Café Correia is one of those iconic restaurants that we can not let go. Food well prepared - by the hands of Mr. José Correia - and very familiar. Here D. Lilita has a very peculiar style of receiving, but it's worth. This is not a place to complications or big demands, so go relaxed and let yourself go. Feel like you're having a familiar lunch with a little crabber grandparents, with a very fine hand in the kitchen, but without a lot of patience to welcome us. So there are rules to be met: the door opens for lunch at 13 pm and for dinner at 19.30pm, do not enter before this time; before sitting down first check the list and make sure you like this kind of food, do not even think about sitting and then repent and go; wait at the bar until they is given the table, never sit in a table even if it is vague; go with no hurry, here everything has its timing; do not go to "snack", here we go to eat.
